Our waste audits analyze the materials your business uses and how they are disposed of to determine where improvements can be made. This includes recommendations for bin type, placement and signage; finding a reputable material hauler; public outreach; and employee training. We will determine the diversion rate of your business (the percentage of waste that is diverted from the landfill), which materials are being sorted incorrectly, and how to improve both. How to Green Your Business is our most comprehensive consulting service. We learn about your business, your goals for sustainability improvements (maybe you already know what you want to work on, you just need a little help to get there), walk through your office and analyze every aspect of your operations (internally and externally, what you supply and what you consume) to identify where eco-conscious improvements can be made. Then we will produce a report outlining what improvements can be made and how to make them. We can then work through the full plan with you or come in for one-off improvement projects.

Our Resource Use Audits analyze what resources your business uses and how they are used to determine where sustainability improvements can be made. Both direct usage (what your business uses) and indirect usage (what your suppliers and stakeholders use) are analyzed for a comprehensive picture. This includes:

• energy use,
• material use, and
• optimizing transportation and reducing emissions.

With over 10 years of experience providing simple and effective recycling and waste management services for events, we can help green your event whether it’s an office party for 50 people or a festival with 60,000 attendees. We give you the tools for you to green any event that you host by working with you to identify all opportunities for reducing waste, purchasing sustainable products, and recycling set-up. We also offer day-of recycling services where we provide the equipment and hauling of event materials. This also includes staff to attend to the stations, guiding attendees on how to correctly sort their materials to ensure the highest material diversion rate from the landfill as possible. After the event we provide a report of the event’s recycling diversion rate, observations from the event, and recommendations on how to improve on reducing event waste.

Our lessons are designed to cater to a wide audience so that regardless of how varied the knowledge base of your group is, everyone will get something out of it.
