Once again, Green Chair Recycling will be greening Vancouver’s Vaisakhi Parade on April 15! Vaisakhi celebrates Sikhism, the New Year, and Punjab’s harvest season. Expect decorative floats, live entertainment, and plenty of food provided by locals! We cannot wait to bring an amazing team of volunteers who are dedicated to making Vaisakhi Zero Waste!! Join us at this fun festive event and lend a helping hand by recycling to divert waste!! n impact!
Volunteer
Together we can make an impact! No experience is necessary and a variety of shifts are available. Do one of the days or multiple days! All equipment as well as refreshments will be provided.
Our Recycling Volunteers attend community events, educate attendees on proper recycling techniques, and show how easy and beneficial recycling and environmental initiatives can be. This is a hands-on position that is open to all ages and abilities; an eye-opening chance to see the change we can all make. Read more about other volunteer positions and opportunities.
