Hello!
An annual event celebrating Taiwanese and Asian culture, this years TaiwanFest runs from September 3rd to 5th. The theme this year is “A Cultural Tango With Hong Kong” with performances by Maestro Ken Hsieh, Cosmos People, International Pan-Asian Culinary Invitational and many others. The event runs in multiple locations downtown, Granville Street (between Hastings and Smithe), Centre for Performing Arts in Vancouver, Vancouver Playhouse, Queen Elizabeth Plaza, and the Orpheum Annex.

We will be helping TaiwanFest out with recycling again and are asking for the support of attendees, vendors and volunteers to keep this event clean, zero waste and spectacular. Use a recycling station, sort your waste and read on for volunteer opportunities.
Volunteer
Together we can make an impact! No experience is necessary and a variety of shifts are available starting from September 2nd to the 5th. Do one of the days or multiple days! All equipment as well as refreshments will be provided.
Our Recycling Volunteers attend community events, educate attendees on proper recycling techniques, and show how easy and beneficial recycling and environmental initiatives can be. This is a hands-on position that is open to all ages and abilities; an eye-opening chance to see the change we can all make. Read more about volunteer positions and opportunities.
