Hello,
For the first time ever, Green Chair Recycling will be helping GREEN Surrey’s Vaisakhi Parade on April 22! Come to this annual celebratory and rich cultural event, which features a large number of floats, community performers, and live music. Surrey’s Vaisakhi Parade also features a unique element which pays tribute to the harvest season – attendees are given free food and drink from hundreds of local residents and businesses. Join our fun team of volunteers who are dedicated to making a Green & Zero Waste Vaisakhi!!!
Volunteer
Together we can make an impact! No experience is necessary and a variety of shifts are available. Do one of the days or multiple days! All equipment as well as refreshments will be provided.
Our Recycling Volunteers attend community events, educate attendees on proper recycling techniques, and show how easy and beneficial recycling and environmental initiatives can be. This is a hands-on position that is open to all ages and abilities; an eye-opening chance to see the change we can all make. Read more about other volunteer positions and opportunities.
