Have you ever been to a landfill before? Wonder what it actually looks like and what goes on there? Did you know they use trained raptors to help keep other animals safe? And there is other wildlife who are neighbours to the landfill? We will get to see a demonstration on how the landfill use these trained raptors and hopefully view the wildlife living directly off the land in one of our MOST POPULAR annual Field Trips! Join us in our Sustainability Social Field Trip touring at The Vancouver Landfill on Thursday, March 28!
The Vancouver Landfill serves residential and commercial customers from Metro Vancouver for final disposal of their garbage. The landfill also has a recycling area for residents to drop off a wide range of recyclable materials, many of which are accepted for free
