It is our honour to share that Green Chair Recycling is the recipient of the 2017 Canada’s Volunteer Awards: Business Leader in British Columbia and the North.
Awards were presented in a ceremony held in Ottawa on December 5th, International Volunteer Day, to individuals and businesses across the country who contribute to and strengthen their communities. This award recognizes the principles of social responsibility and volunteerism that Green Chair practices and supports every day. (Learn more about the award here)
We believe that the work all of us do is relevant and valuable to the community and we are thrilled that the Government of Canada supports our efforts.
From the bottom of our heart, we would like to thank each and every volunteer who has supported us over the years. You, an ambassador of recycling, are the reason we divert so much waste from events and educate so many people about recycling. You are amazing, and your energy and passion help blaze a trail towards sustainable events and sustainable communities. Thank you for your efforts and dedication.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to the communities, businesses and people who strive to minimize their ecological impact and welcome us with open arms. We would not be here without you.
